6 months

Wow! It is hard to believe that we are 6 months pregnant. Calloway weighs about a 1 1/2 pounds now and she is about 8.5 inches long (standard letter size). At the appointment today I had gained 1 pound and measured in at 24 - which is right on target for being 24 weeks pregnant! Her heartbeat was good at 146.
Over the last several days, Calloway had been very active around 5-7pm, however since this past Saturday, she has been very active off and on all day long. She is finally kicking hard enough that people can feel it. Mark felt her for the first time on Monday. It is almost like popcorn popping in there now because she is kicking so often.
We had our first baby shower this past Sunday in Prairie Grove, AR. We got lots of great things but a few big items were the high chair, stroller, and diaper champ. My papaw custom built and painted a little rocking for Calloway. I feel very special because he has never done this for anyone! What a wonderful great-grandpa he is going to be.
