I was thinking about 4th of July and how some families have traditions or others just do random things. Well, what's the best way you've ever spent the 4th?

Happy 232nd 4th of July!
Well, I hope everyone had a great 4th! We left the house about 4:15pm to go see the Fort Worth Cats Baseball Game and fireworks show. Here are a few photos of our day...Notice the matching shirts!!! I wasn't sure how Calloway would react to the fireworks, but she did great. She didn't wince, jump, squinch her eyes or anything. She just sat there and watched them. I'd love to know what she was thinking though.

LOVE the matching navy bow w/ her patriotic shirt! Maybe fireworks won't bother her ever...??? Kennedy was the same way @ 4 1/2 mos. old last summer & even though I expected a diff. reaction this summer @ 16 1/2 mos., she still liked watching them & was hardly even hesitant of them @ all. Good for her!

ReplyDeleteAs far as my favorite 4th - it was probably on the Mission Trip to DC. Mark can tell you about it Cari, if you haven't been, but those fireworks put all other firework shows to shame! I guess it was just neat being in our nation's capital for the 4th of July. It makes me want to go back next year!
