The little person you see in the photos above does not always act as innocently as she looks. Beware of this toddler and her secret hiding places.......
Okay, first there are some facts that you need to know. I keep my deodorant and perfume on my night stand and months back Calloway discovered that she could reach up and grab them. She has never shown interest in my perfume but is always taking my deodorant and walking around with it. Up until this point, I thought it was harmless and continued to let her do this. Well, Tuesday evening as I was getting ready for bed, I noticed that my deodorant was missing. I did a quick look around the house for it but no luck. Wednesday morning I got up and got ready, hoping to have a few more minutes to find it, but again, no luck. I was out of time.....had to get to work. So, I left for work with NO deodorant on! I was so grossed out, but what do you do? I couldn't wear Mark's!!!! So, as I headed out the door, I told Mark that if he saw her "playing" with my deodorant during the day, to take it from her and hide it. Well, I got home Wednesday afternoon and did a more thorough search of the house for the deodorant and Mark said that he somewhat looked for it during the day.....still no luck! Well, Wednesday evenings are a LITTLE hectic with church and everything and by the time we got home, I had forgotten about it. Well, Thursday morning comes and still no sign of the deodorant. So, AGAIN (I know...disgusting) I go to work with NO deodorant on. Thursday evening I spent a little bit more time looking for the deodorant. It's no where to be found!
Now mind you, our house isn't huge! Where could a 17 month old hide a thing of deodorant so that the adult household occupants can't find it. I've crawled all over the house looking at things from her perspective and I still can't find my deodorant. So, a trip to the store to buy more deodorant was in order......I just knew that after I purchased the deodorant, she'd come walking out from somewhere with it! But it hasn't happened yet!
So funny! I hope Calloway didn't throw it away. I had one friend whose daughter became fascinated with putting things in the trash. She saw mommy put things in the trash so why couldn't she? Kids are fun! We should try and meet up this summer.
