Wood or Silverware?

Well, today officially marks our 5 year wedding anniversary. According to some website the more traditional gift for 5 years is wood, however, the more modern gift is silverware. So, Susan (my aunt) let Toby know that he is about 6 yrs late on getting you that new silverware. What about you? Would you rather have wood or silverware? I think I'm gonna go with silverware, although it depends on what the "wooden" thing is. I hope Mark isn't going to say that Calloway's new "wooden" swing set is my anniversary gift once he sees this post.

I thought that since many of you didn't know us 5 years ago that you might like to see a few photos of our wedding day and besides it is kind of fitting for this blog post. ENJOY!

To Mark: Thank you for being such a selfless, caring, loving, wonderful husband and father. I love you tons! You have become my best friend and I can't wait to spend 50 more years with you!

Love seeing your wedding pictures! I can't believe it's already been 5 years! Wow! Hmm... I think I would have to pick silverware. I'm afraid of what the wooden thing would be. :-)

Welcome to our blog. A place where you can stay updated with what is happening in our little family of three and where you can find the latest pics of our cutie pie! We live in the South and enjoy the Southern way of living. The Hubs might as well be nicknamed "The Music Man" 'cause he does it all....well, almost! I spend my days in a classroom full of little people trying to impart some knowledge into them and our biggest pride and joy is our daughter Cal-Girl. We share our home with a half-shaved cat whom we adore, despite her baldness and a few fish.

We love to travel but don't have enough money to do it as much as we'd like. We enjoy spending time together as a family and going to many musical events. We like to eat, especially out. We are Baptists, lovers of Classical music, readers, and enjoy playing board/card games with friends and family. We feel very strongly about chivalry and doing what is right, noble, and honorable in God's eyes.

I began this blog when I got pregnant as a way for our family and friends to be able stay connected with us as we were out of state. It has evolved over time to be a diary of our life and the latest happenings.
