Joy, Joy, Joy, Down in My Heart

"I've got the joy, joy, joy, down in my heart".....she's called Calloway. This little girl has brought so much joy to my days. I very much look forward to 3:15pm everyday so that I can rush home to see her. She is my pride and I AM a proud momma! She is in a phase right now, where if we're not disciplining her we are rolling in the floor laughing at the things she says. The other night she was hiding in the room and we asked her what she was doing and she replied, "I texting!" Another day I told her that she was smart and she said, " I fart!" She couldn't get out the /sm/ sound I guess. When she gets fussy in the car, we revert to singing songs. She is really picking up on some of them. She loves Twinkle, Twinkle, Little Star; The Wheels on the Bus; Jesus Loves Me; Ring Around the Rosies; Jesus Loves the Little Children; Hickory Dickory Dock; I'm a Little Teapot; and the ABC Song. Her favorite Bible Story right now is Jonah because she loves to look at the pictures of the whale. Even though we keep calling it a big fish. Here is a picture of my girl in her cute boots and matching shirt. Here is a video we took one night at dinner. We've been working on ABC's and we were trying to get her to say some of them. My favorite part is the Monkey.

This past weekend we went to visit my family in Arkansas. We celebrated my dad's birthday on Thursday and my paternal grandmother's 83rd birthday on Saturday. My cousin renewed her vows with a beautiful ceremony on Saturday evening as well. My sister and I had a great time being together without the hubbies around.
