2 Sick Girls

Unforunately, Mark had to come home Wednesday to night to two sick girls. As you know, I took Calloway to the doctor on Tuesday and she had double ear infections. On Wednesday, I started feeling bad at work and by the time the day was over I could barely hold my head up. I went and got Calloway from the babysitter's and went home and took about a 2hr nap. When I got up I could barely walk, had fever, and just felt weak and shaky all over. I immediately called in sick for Thursday. Mark got home around 11:30pm that night. By lunch time on Thursday I didn't feel any better. In fact, I felt worse. I went to the CareNow clinic with 101.6 fever and after about 2 hours came out with a diagnosis of Mono! MONO! Oh no! I don't want that! THat's bad! People get that from sharing drinks, kissing people, etc. How did I get this? Then she told me that I probably caught it sometime in the last 3-8wks. I immediately ran through my calendar....what, how, me?? Seriously.....Ugh! This stinks! AND it will take me about a month to get over it! Well, let's just say that there isn't much you can do for it other than sleep. AND that is something I've done a lot of since Thursday. Luckily today I've felt much better. We went out this afternoon so that I could try and prepare myself for making it to work on Monday. I did pretty well. If you want to know how I feel. Just imagine you feel like a bobble-head doll at all times. I guess it's somewhat similar to vertigo. I just am not really sure sometimes if things around me are moving or not. It's kind of weird but frustrating at the same time.
