Well, she is constantly carrying her baby around, patting her on the back, making a bed in the living room floor for her to sleep on, and reading to her baby.
Cal's First Movie
Our dear friend Barbara has a tradition, I guess you could say, where she has taken all of her grandkids to see their first movie in the theater. She had asked me a while back about taking Calloway to see her first movie and I told her that when Toy Story 3 came out this summer that that would be the perfect opportunity. Well, we get tickets for the first matinee on Friday and Mrs. Barbara had brought M&M's in her purse for Cal. We got her a movie theater booster seat and she just sat there and stared mesmerized the whole time. She did great! And we enjoyed the movie too. I was surprised by the amount of "Action" in the movie and was not prepared with tissues for the ending. Notice that Woody went to the movies with us!
Happy Father's Day!
This year for Father's Day Calloway had picked out a new shirt and tie for her daddy to wear. We had a great morning with Mark and went to church. Several times Calloway would just randomly say "Happy Father's Day Daddy!" It was so cute and just made him smile. Here is a picture of Cal and Mark before we left for church.
Lunch with Friends
After church we went to lunch with some great friends: Victor, Linda, Claudia, and Vincent. Claudia is 3 and she and Calloway just get together and giggle like a bunch of geese. We went to lunch at Mi Familia for Father's Day and while we were waiting for our table, Calloway and Claudia were being silly and playing "Ring Around the Rosie" so I had to take their pictures.
