Bath Time

I think I've shared with some of you the woes we have at bath time. But if not, now you know. Calloway has never liked for me to wash her hair. She just cries, flails (sp?) her arms, and gets a death grip on my arms which makes it impossible to finish washing the soap out. Well I have great news....finally after 2 1/2 years she is finally figuring out a way to let me rinse her hair. I was getting really frustrated at all of the sad bath times and now she finally enjoys playing in the bathtub too with her toys.
Another thing that Calloway has learned in the last couple of months is that while you're in the bathtub your fingers get wrinkly or as she says worgally. It makes me laugh everytime she says this. She is always inspecting her fingers throughout her bath to see if they are all worgally yet.
Calloway has finally outgrown all of those wonderful baby towels that have the little triangle that goes over their head. But she is too small for "adult" towels. I was fishing around in her closet the other day and remembered that Mark's dad and step mom had sent Cal a big bunny towel and then I noticed this hippo one. They are a great size and I am hoping to find more of these. Does anybody know where to find these fun towels. Calloway loves them and now asks for them at every bathtime.

  1. Brooklynn always hated to have her hair rinsed. I finally figured out that if I told her to lay down and have "mermaid hair" in the water she loved it! :) Have you tried Pottery Barn Kids for the towels? Wal-Mart and Target both have princess hooded towels that are a little bigger too.
