Christmas Morning

We saved our stockings for Christmas Morning. So, we got up around 6:30am, got ready, ate breakfast, finished last minute repacking, opened stockings and then it was out the door at 9am to head to the airport. Here is the stockings video:

When we got to the airport, we had planned to park way out there. You know the spots that are like 1 mile away and you take the shuttle to the right terminal. Well, guess what, they were full! Which meant we had to go the lots that are 1/2 a mile away (which are also more and more expensive the closer you get to the airport terminals). Well, those weren't full and the lady had a coupon offering us to park at the terminal for the same price. So, we jumped on it! Which ended up putting us at the terminal about 45 minutes earlier than we had originally planned. Thankfully we saw a sign that said "Kids Play Area". Boy did we take off after that. And when we got there, this is what we found.

(Bizby and Unc, these pictures are for you!)

Then we were off to find some lunch before boarding our plane. First of all, Calloway was really excited to fly. She obviously doesn't remember the first time she flew, so she was very, very excited. When we got on the plane she asked tons of questions but my favorite questions were as follows:

Cal: "Mommy who drives the plane?"

Me: "Well, the pilots do."
Cal: : "Where are the pirates mommy?"

Me: "Pi-lots Cal not Pi-rates. Pirates are on boats and pilots are on airplanes."

Cal: "Where are the pirates mommy?"

Me: (giving up on correcting her because it's too cute) "Up there behind that door."

Cal: "Oh in that closet."

Me: "Yes, Cal."

Then when we got in the air she was excited to see the clouds and then the flight attendant brought her a drink and she thought that was really special. And soon after she fell asleep for the remainder of the flight....even through the landing. It was a good pirate that day!
