Flower bed Facelift

I hate to admit this but, we've neglected our flower bed for a good year or more. It was beginning to look a little sad and empty! Well, when I knew my aunt and cousin were coming to visit, I told Mark that I didn't want her to see that embarassing eye sore. So a couple of Saturdays ago, we headed off to Wal-Mart to pick up some much needed, colorful blooms. Unfortunately I did not take a beginning shot....but that's ok because you can imagine the box woods in the back and just a bunch of weeds with some mulch from a year-or-so-ago in the front.

This little plant we added to the east side of our garage. It actually will grow quite big so that's why we planted it so far out from the corner. It should bloom with pretty white flowers on it! We'll see!  ha!

 In between the box woods and the flowers we need to get some medium-high plants of some kind to act as filler but we haven't got that far yet. So that's why I say almost done. I am very pleased when I look at things now.....wish we'd done it sooner!

While we were at Wal-Mart Calloway noticed these bird feeders and she basically "used her ways" to talk Mark and I into buying it for her along with some bird seed. She was so excited to take it home and get it all ready for the birds. That was her added touch to our facelift. 

There are so many more things around our house that need a facelift and I'm actually working on a couple! I can't wait to share the detaitls.......
