The Park

I have posted numerous times about our favorite park. A couple of Friday nights ago, we had had a kind of stressful week and as I was driving home from work I was thinking how nice it'd be to go to the park and have a relaxing evening. So, we decided to run by Subway and take sandwiches to the park and have dinner there. Calloway of course thought we must take bread for the ducks.

We love feeding the ducks and watching them swim and just come right up to you. 

There are several different duck species that live there. 

 

Calloway kept getting closer and closer to the water and she kept throwing the bread at the ducks not to them. She even hit a couple of ducks in the head. Luckily the bread was semi-soft. 

 

 

We even spied some turtles who were coming to partake of the daily bread.

Then Miss Thang thought she needed to climb the rocks. She looks so small up there but she's so big!

Then I told her that I wanted to take her picture and she began posing for me!

It was hilarious since she NEVER does anything like that! 

 

Then it was off to play!

I think the dinosaur is one of her favorites! 

And climbing up in the "tree house".

and of course no park visit is complete until you've swung as high as you can go. 

 

I loved our little family time at the park. It was nice to get away from all the hustle and bustle of everything and just spend some time together as a family outdoors.
