I've been so proud of Calloway lately. This past summer we worked very hard at recognizing all of her letters and then on letter sounds. She gets them right 90% of the time.
Our new thing lately is writing her name and writing letters in general.
One way of working on her name is by her connecting dots that I've made.
The other night she went to her art easel and began writing letters.
She said, "I'm going to draw a H" and this is what she did.
Then....
She drew a z ....
She messed up a little at the top but got the rest
and then a g.....
See, how smart is that?
