Christmas Lights

All the carols and lights,
Make the holidays nice,
but it's all about you.
Happy Birthday Jesus!
Jesus, I love you!

(Many of my posts are going to begin with Christmas Song Lyrics - be ware!)
We sort of have a tradition where we go look at Christmas lights every year.
This year we went with our dear friends, the Olson family.
The first thing you have to do is get all bundled up!
Don't forget a hat!
And the next thing to remember is HAVE FUN!
Calloway and Courtney riding the carousel.
Our first stop was the Fort Worth Stock Yards.

Gotta have your picture taken with the local cowboy!
Then look to see if your name is on the nice list.
I took this picture through the window, sorry for the poor quality but I was taking it because Mark's name and Nancy's name made it on the list. Cari was on there but it was spelt Carey. They told me that didn't count.
Then you sit in Santa's big chair while he's not there!
Don't forget to ride a horse. You are at the Stockyards after all.
Or maybe a cow will do.
Then you go see the really big Christmas tree.

And last of all you have some random strager walking by, take a picture of the whole crew!
It makes for better memories that way!
Then you all pile back in the car and head off to see more lights.
Our next stop landed us downtown to see the 100 colored light trees featuring over 1 million lights.
They were absolutely gorgeous and extremely well wrapped.
Definitely worth the drive around.

Does your family have any traditions this christmas season? Do you go look at Christmas lights?
If so, what's your favorite place to go?
