19. Candy Canes: Yuck or Yum? Yum! But not my favorite....
1. Egg Nog or Hot Chocolate? Hot chocolate.
2. Does Santa wrap presents or just sit them under the tree? We just put the presents under the tree as they are wrapped.
3. Colored lights on tree/house or white? White is the only way to go, whether on the tree or on the house!
4. Do you hang mistletoe? Yes, but it stays up all year right above the master bedroom doorway. You never know when you might need a little mistletoe......
5. When do you put your decorations up? The weekend before Thanksgiving.
6. What is your favorite holiday dish? Deep Fried Turkey
7. Favorite Holiday memory as a child? Christmas at my granny's house
8. When and how did you learn the truth about Santa? I don't really remember but I'm not sure I always believed 100% anyway since we were never at our house on Christmas Eve.
9. Do you open a gift on Christmas Eve? Sometimes, if we can talk my mom into it. It just spreads the Christmas joy/cheer out a little longer! I have a hard time keeping presents a secret.
10. How do you decorate your Christmas tree? very traditionally. I mostly have red, lime green, gold, and some brownish-bronzy ornaments.
11. Snow! Love it or Dread it? It depends. We don't get it very often here in Texas so it's kind of like a novelty but after a day or two of it, I'm tired of it.
12. Can you ice skate? I don't think it would be a good idea for me to try....I'm not exactly the most graceful person in the world.
13. Do you remember your favorite gift? My parents got my sister and I a regulation size ping pong table one year and I think it lived for the first month in the middle of our living room because we played every night! We got so many good laughs out of it and had a great time with friends and family!
14. What’s the most important thing about the Holidays for you? The birth of the Savior! That's only reason there is to celebrate!
15. What is your favorite Holiday Dessert? Chocolate Covered Cherries
16. What is your favorite holiday tradition? wearing new Christmas PJ's, ordering pizza, and reading the Christmas story on Christmas Eve together as a family.
17. What tops your tree? It used to be an angel until last year when my sister helped me make a beautiful bow to go on top.
18. Which do you prefer giving or receiving? I truly enjoy the giving... receiving feels good too, but there is something about getting the perfect gift for someone and seeing their eyes light up. That's the good stuff.
