Some friends of ours posted a photo on Facebook a while back where her daughter was learning to write her letter K's (the first letter of her name). I loved the little tool she was using and asked about it. Becky told me that she had got it at Wal-Mart and that it was called an Activity Center. It comes with pages to practice handwriting and there are other activities. The pages just slide right in and then the kiddos can use the dry erase markers that come with it to write on top and then erase. So we headed off to Wal-Mart in search of said Acivity Center and found it. I couldn't believe it was so cheap - around $15.
Calloway asks everyday to write on it and practice her letters. You can also go on-line and print your pages to put in it. But lately it has become more of a drawing center. Here she is with her dog on the left and her cat on the right. I loved it! And I was so proud of her!
Thanks for stopping by my blog. Welcome to Oklahoma! I'm now following your blog and what a cute little girl you have!
