I know, I know, it's summer break and I'm just now getting around to posting about our Spring Break Staycation. Please forgive me as I continue to get caught up over the next few weeks.
While we were in Texas in February, a teacher friend of mine had given Calloway a wooden barn. She knew that Cal LOVED horses and thought of Cal immediately when she came across it. The funny thing is, her daughter (Emily- also a horse lover) had one just like it when she was a child. Cal had been begging me to paint it. I promised her we would over Spring Break. Here it is the day we started.
Cal chose green to paint the ladder. She did this part by herself.
We played some more at the park.
She played the iPad with Rosie.
And then we went to POPS. Now this was our third time to go!
Boy do we love that place!
But the part that Cal looked most forward to was HORSEBACK RIDING!!!!!!
We went to Thunderbird Stables which is on Lake Thunderbird and you can take
an hour long horseback trail ride for about $25. This girl, she was in HEAVEN!!!
Finally at the end of Spring Break, Nonna came for a visit.
Look at those three, Mark and Cal playing XBox and Nonna on her iPad.
We were quite the crew but we had a great time!
