Pottery, Willow, or Leather

Every year I love to look at what the traditional and modern anniversary gifts are and this year, as the title states, they are pottery, willow, or leather. This year he's getting leather. I can't believe that we are celebrating 9 years of marriage today!

Other than a few hairstyle changes for me and a couple of pounds gained for both of us, I think we're pretty much looking like ourselves. Just hopefully not as "young looking"!

In our wedding vows we said these words, "For better, for worse, for richer, for poorer, in sickness and in health" and we've definitely experienced each of those in the past 9 years. What a journey the past 9 years have been: Living in 3 states, serving in 3 different churches, 2 daughters, 2 cats, 4 vehicles, 4 places we called home, 8 years of graduate school, and I can't wait to see what more God has in store for our journey! I look forward to many more wonderful years together! I love you Mark and am so happy that I get to spend this life loving you, being loved  by you, and sharing/making memories together.
