A few weeks ago for Fall Break, we took a little get away to Branson, MO for some much needed family time! This was the first "vacation" that we've had just the 3 of us! I'll highlight more of our trip later but I wanted to share with you one of the best things that we did!
We went to the Promised Land Zoo: Foot Safari.
And for those of you who KNOW our little girl and how wild she is about animals. This ended up being the perfect stop on our trip. I would highly reccomend that you go, especially during feeding time and during one of the zoo keeper animal presentations.
Cal got to help feed the baby zebra his bottle...
and then the camel, Forest Hump.
Isn't that the best name ever!?!?!
Then she helped feed the baby deer.
And the baby buffalo.
We had a great time walking around and feeding the animals.
I really enjoyed watching the momma sloth carry her baby around/
Then the zoo keeper came out and shared 5 animals with us.
First, a joey, who was so cute and soft!
Then a red haired armadillo.
An alligator
And a Kinkajou! (*This was most exciting because she ran along the fence,
stepped on my hand, and ate the raisin from it!)
If you have little ones who love animals as much as Cal, this is a must see/do on your next trip to Branson!
