The Night of the Spaghetti Dinner

A few weeks ago we had spaghetti for dinner (like most American or Italian families) and what used to be just a normal meal ended up being quite an experience. For you see, this was the first time that I had ever actually given Calloway noodles WITH sauce on them. She has had just plain noodles before and loved it. BUT I thought that it was high time she learn to spaghetti the real way. So, being the fabulous mother that I try to be, I cut up a tablespoon amount of spaghetti so that she would easily be able to pick it up and feed herself. I thought that I would also give it to her in one of her little, plastic bowls so that she could learn to start eating like real people do. Needless to say that 2 minutes into the ordeal she didn't need the bowl anymore because she had dumped ALL of the spaghetti onto her highchair tray, where she proceeded to finger paint with it. Meanwhile she was stuffing some into her mouth but not too much later then scene looked liked this.......Sorry some of them are blurry!







For all of you haven't yet tried spaghetti ....BEWARE, I was warned, "Wait 'til they have spaghetti for the first time!", did I listen? Yeah, but did I know it would be exactly like this? NO!!! It took both of us to get her cleaned up afterward!
