Fun, Fun, Fun

Today we reached a high of 87 degrees. After taking my class to recess I decided to call Mark and see if we could take Calloway to the park after I got home from school. He said yes! So, as soon as I got home we headed out. Here are some of the highlights from our outing. Calloway loved the swings but I think she liked watching all of the other kids more.











We saw this really cool slide and I suggested that Mark climb up and take Calloway down it. Here is a picture of them at the top.


If you look closely at the slide, you can see that it doesn't really have sides on it and it isn't "banked" very well either. Well, needless to say, as Mark and Calloway came down the slide, Mark's tushy didn't quite fit, so they came crashing down. Here are his new "daddy" scratches and marks. So, much for trying to be a kid again! Luckily for Calloway, Mark was able to keep her lifted up in the air when he hit the ground so she didn't get hurt at all!
