Christmas 2009

This year, my parents and sister/bro-n-law came to our house for Christmas. Libby and I got to spend some girl time shopping. On Christmas Eve it even snowed and we had to cancel our candlelight service at church. On Christmas morning Calloway was so excited she could hardly wait for my sister and her husband to arrive. As soon as they got here, the opening of presents began. Calloway would open one gift and act like she was finished. She just wanted to go off and play with that toy, she didn't realize there were more to open. She did finally get the hang of taking the paper off the presents by herself. There was so much joy in watching her open them and especially watching her reactions. We spent a lot of time laughing. On Saturday, we began our 2 day trek to North Carolina to spend time with Mark's family for Christmas. We had a great time seeing his relatives and catching up. His brother Brandt had recently got engaged and we got to see his sister Laci, whom we hadn't seen since his other brother's wedding back in the summer. Here are some great photos of our Christmases.
