May Craziness

One thing that Calloway has really enjoyed doing lately is building with blocks. She always says that she is building a tower but sometimes she is just lining the blocks up.


A couple of Sundays ago we went to Luby's with our dear friends Bob & Pat. Calloway was getting a little restless while standing in line and then Granny-Pat (as we call her) remembered that she had these long silk red gloves in her suitcase of a purse. SHe pulled them out, stuck them on Cal's arms, and Calloway began to fling her arms around so that the gloves her flying like helicopter propellers around us. We had to watch out because she nearly whacked us all in the head with those things.


Last Friday, Mark and Calloway came to my school for our Field Day. Calloway had a blast hanging out with my students and even playing some of the activities.







Calloway has started noticing Toy STory paraphanalia around town. I know as a tween I loved the movies. So, last week we went out and bought Toy STory 1 and 2 on DVD for Calloway to watch. Then I remembered that I had a Jesse doll from the movies originally came out. I went out to the garage and a little while later found the bin that had Jesse stored away. I brought her in the house and Calloway really enjoys carrying her around.


AND She still begs us to "water her"! Except now we have a sprinkler setup and she loves running through it and playing.
