Turning Three

We begin the special day with Calloway creating own her own little photo shoot. I was trying to get a good picture of her in her birthday shirt and new hat but she kept running all around the house and striking a pose in a new location and then doing it again. Many times she wasn't still long enough for me to ever really get a good picture but here is what she gave me:

When we asked her what she wanted to do to celebrate her birthday, she said she wanted to eat pizza and go bowling. So that's what we did. She had an orange bowling bowl and she was very excited about that. She would go around asking everyone if they liked orange.

After dinner that night, Roselyn and Grandmother Helen setup the dining room for her party. Of course Roselyn kept with her Dora theme and as always made a cookie cake. Calloway even knew that it was a Dora cake. She was very excited!

After dinner it became "Who wants to take a picture with the birthday girl?"

Calloway had a great time and a great day. Her friend party will be on Saturday, January 15th so I'll post more about that later.
