I'm not really sure how I only ended up with a random assortment of pictures from Labor Day Weekend but here's proof that we had a fantastic time!
First of all, we headed up to Arkansas (Hog Country to be exact) on Friday when I got out of school. It ended up taking us about 7-7.5 hours instead of the normal 6-7 hours. Traffic was horrible!
We ALWAYS go see my family for Labor Day Weekend. It's a tradition that's been going on since I was born. I wrote more about why in last year's post. You can go back and read that here.
This year I was quite anxious to get there because I hadn't seen my sweet nephew since he was born back in July. I couldn't wait to hold him and kiss on him.
Of course Calloway wanted to hold him too!
These are my maternal grandparents and I asked them if they would be willing to take a picture together because I don't have photos of them around the house. I want to see this picture often and remember how wonderful they are to all of us girls and Wyndon!
Here's Mark and I proudly holding my little nephew!
Then it was time for the regularly schedule tractor ride that takes place EVERY TIME we go to Nonna and Poppy's house! Cal thought she could drive it by herself!
Then she and Poppy were off! I think she has him wrapped around a couple of fingers...
These two little ladies are practically inseparable when they're together! I love that they are so close in age (38 hours apart) but hate that we live so far apart! Sophia is a sweetheart and these two together are like dynamite!
Poppy's girl!
I was holding my sweet little nephew and I actually got him to smile!
I was such a proud Auntie!
Here we are, just the three of us getting ready for church on Sunday morning.
We had a great trip and it's always nice to just get away!
Not to mention the fact that the Razorbacks were playing a home game this weekend and we got to watch it with my whole family! AND they WON!!!
