New Clothes

Now to a 4 year old new clothes aren't as great as a new toy or new movie but here recently Cal received some cute new outfits from family. First up is her ice skating outfit that Grandmother got her at Christmas time. It came complete with matching bows, necklace, and a dog purse. Of course I couldn't get her to hold the purse and pose for me with it.
My mom  got her this really cute dress and matching tights for Christmas. I love the large floral print and the color scheme is bright and cheery!
Aunt Laci lives in California now and she stopped by the University of California and picked up this shirt for Miss Calloway. It is so fitting because as you may know, her nickname is Cal.
This outfit I got for her to wear to preschool for Valentines Day this year. I thought the colors were so bright and fun!
Many of you know that my mom is pretty crafty and creative in the area of sewing and each year she loves making Calloway themed clothes for holidays. Well, this year my mom made a set of three outfits. One for the two grandchildren, Calloway and Wyndon, and one for my cousin Sophia who is the same age as Calloway. Too bad we never got them all together for a pic. (Yes! She has become quite the ham lately for the camera. We spent so many years just trying to get her to look at the camera and then all of a sudden, now she'll do it, but generally there is either a silly face or silly pose involved. Ha! Love that girl!)
Then comes the scary part.....the day they start trying to pick out their own clothes. Let's just say that I have not taught her this fashion sense. And since when did my little girl decide to act like a ballerina and go around the house wearing a tutu and a pajama shirt?!?! Are you sure that's my daughter....I thought she played with animals, trains, and books......not girly things!
Sorry this next one is blurry - I HAD to include it so you could see that face! Ha!

She's such a silly girl at times! I love her so much and each day with her just gets better and better!
