For all of you mom's out there who have ever watched TV with your small children have probably seen the show "Go Diego Go" AND I'm pretty sure that most of us grew watching Disney's the Lion King. Well, with both of those shows in mind and knowing how much Calloway LOVES to play with animals, plus any and EVERYTHING to do with animals, this post won't surprise you.
In the living room the other day she was dumping out her animal safari set. She asked me to come play with her and after a few minutes of getting the animals sorted this is what evolved. *I want to apologize that the busyness of the rug makes it a little hard to tell what's going on in some of the photos.

The bucket became pride rock (as seen on the left here) and all of the other animals had
to face pride rock.
Here is a frontal view of Pride Rock with all of the lions on top.
Since we also have lots of sea animals, we made a sea back behind the "tree of life". Of course those animals had to face towards Pride Rock as well and get all lined up.
Then of course the dinosaurs had to have a place to go so they went and lined up in the very back.
The lid became the rescue center. *This is where the Go Diego Go comes in. Yes, she does have a Diego and baby jaguar. She put the safari guys there, the jeep, the boat, the trailer, the dogs and cats, and the scuba diver, because that's where they do all the work until they have to go out and rescue an animal in danger.
Here is a close up of the elephants, giraffes, zebras, tigers, and in the back rhinos, panda, monkeys, and bears.
And a close up of Pride Rock.
So that's how a lot of our days have gone. Playing in the living room and spreading things out while mommy gets stuffed unpacked and put away.
If you are an animal lover.....come on over and play!
