Cookin' and Cleanin'

Today I'd like to show you where we cook and clean. Of course the kitchen is one of the most loved rooms in a house because we (especially moms) spend a lot of time in there.

This kitchen is MUCH smaller than the one we had at our house in Fort Worth but we are managing. Some items have had to find new homes in other rooms of the house and some items have just had to go into storage, sadly.

In the photo below there is a door between the stove and the dishwasher. That leads into the dining room. I believe you saw that door the other day in the dining tour. If you missed it, just click here to go back and see it.
This is the view when you come through that door from the dining room.

There are actually 4 different doorways that lead into our kitchen area. Above is the first one.
Here is a view of our kitchen looking in from the hallway.

And this is standing in the hallway looking into the kitchen again, but on the far right you can sort of see into the laundry room.

This is standing in the music library looking into the kitchen. In this photo you can see the hallway entry on the left and the dining room entry on the far right.

The nook/breakfast area in this house is only 3ft deep and about 7ft long which isn't very much room for a breakfast table or eating area. We decided to make it into Calloway's corner where she can do her drawing, painting, arts/crafts, and where we work on school related items. She  is very excited that she has her own spot. Also in this picture you can see the door to the music library on the far left and the hallway door on the far right.
Standing at Calloway's pink table this is looking into the left side of the laundry area where our pantry is along with a calendar and Calloway's chore chart hanging on the wall.

On the right side is our washer and dryer area with some storage above. This is the back door that we enter and exit through.
Well stayed tuned for more photos.
Maybe tomorrow I'll break it up a little and give you a post about what Miss Calloway is doing while I unpack and get things put away into their new home.
