Meet Rosie

Calloway has really been after us about getting a dog and then lately she got on a hamster kick. But with renting our house and having a crazy hectic schedule during certain times of the year we didn't feel that either of those pets would be the best choice for our family. Well for some time now we've been considering getting another cat. If you'll remember we had to put our cat Sundae down back  in February after she was getting old and having some health issues.
We discussed the matter with our land lady and she was totally fine with is, especially since she's a cat lover herself! So on Tuesday evening when we were at PetsMart getting a few other things we noticed some cats that were up for adoption. Well, there was this particular cat named Rosie who was 1 years old, good with kids, friendly and lovable. We had discussed that if we were going to get another cat we wanted one that would be lovable and get along with Calloway. Well, we were let in to spend some time with Rosie and we really enjoyed her, inquired about the adoption process, but we came home without her. All the way home  (keep in mind PetsMart is 25-30 minutes away) we discussed whether or not Rosie was the right cat for our family. By the time we reached home we had decided to get her.
So on Wednesday morning after Mark took Calloway to school he drove back to MidWest City and got Rosie for us!
She is a tortoise tabby and I think her markings are absolutely gorgeous.
She has done great adjusting and she is very sweet and friendly.
She and Calloway are getting along very well.
We are so happy to have her as a part of our family!
